Rooted in Cantonese cooking and shaped by a city open to the world, Hong Kong cuisine keeps evolving. Our menu brings together honey-glazed char siu, steamed fish and the smoky heat of wok-fried noodles. Familiar flavours, cooked with care in our London kitchen.

Who we are

From North Point to London

We opened in North Point, Hong Kong, in 2013 as 人人和平 (Ren Ren Heping). Roast meats and familiar Hong Kong dishes brought people to the table, and our cooking earned recognition from the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Today we bring that cooking and welcome to Covent Garden as Hopers’ Base, with British meat, fish and vegetables in our Hong Kong kitchen. We look forward to welcoming you.

Booking & depositsWe recommend booking. For 1–4 guests, no deposit is needed. For 5–8 guests, we take a £10 deposit per person when you book and deduct it in full from your bill. For 9 or more guests, please contact us on 020 3640 8067 or at covent.garden@hopersbase.com.
Cancellations & changesIf you cancel, reschedule or change your party size at least 48 hours before your booking, we’ll refund any deposit in full. With less than 48 hours’ notice, the £10 deposit per person is non-refundable. This also applies to guests removed from the booking or who do not attend.
Your tableYour table is reserved for 90 minutes at lunch or 105 minutes at dinner. We’ll hold it for 15 minutes after your booking time. Please let us know if you’re running late.
Corkage & cakeageYou are welcome to bring your own wine. Corkage is £30 per bottle. If you bring a cake, cakeage is £5 per person, up to £20 per booking.
Service charge & VATAll prices include VAT. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to your bill.
